Think about your home purchase situation. Is this your first home purchase? Do you have any situations that may help you? For example, are you a veteran? Are you interested in new construction? Will this be an investment property? Will you need down payment assistance? Are you interested in 100% financing? Whatever your needs are we can provide you with accurate, helpful information regarding your home purchase.
Home Purchase: Mortgage Lending Services
We provide two types of mortgage lending for the purchase of a home: fixed-rate, and adjustable rate loans. Adjustable rate home mortgage loans (often referred to as ARMs) are typically offered at a lower interest rate than the equivalent fixed rate home mortgage loan. Fixed rate home loans provide the security of knowing that your interest rate will remain the same throughout the life of your mortgage loan, which can come with terms of up to 40 years. The benefit of an ARM, on the other hand, is that since it is offered at a lower initial interest rate you will be able to save more money during the early years of your home mortgage, knowing that your interest rate may increase when it is time to adjust your mortgage loan’s interest rate.
“Which type of home mortgage loan is best for me?” That is a great question, and the answer can vary greatly depending on several factors. Ultimately, you will have to call to speak with one of our home mortgage lending specialists to find the best answer for your particular situation. Current and projected future income, down payment, the expected term of your mortgage, and how long you plan to be in the home you are buying, to name a few. The answer to this question really depends on your particular situation, so we encourage you to schedule an appoint with one of our Senior Mortgage Specialists to craft the best solution for your upcoming home purchase.
